In December 1994 eight indviduals gathered to brainstorm ideas how to offer a fun, family centered horse circuit. From that and many, many meetings after that, a group called Lower Michigan Horse Association or L.M.H.A. was born. We are now entering our 16th show season, and in looking back, we have become a very fun, organized and competitive association.

     The Goals of this association are to:

     *Promote Interest in All Breeds of Horses

     *Promote Horse Show Activities

     *Encourage Good Sportsmanship and Competition

     *Have High Ethical Standards among Exhibitors

     *Offer Something to All Members of the Family

Our Purpose is to SUPPORT FAMILY ORIENTED ACTIVITIES IN THE EQUINE AREA.

     The L.M.H.A. Horse Shows are open for ALL to attend. There is a membership offered to participants who choose, they also receive the perks of using the Blanket Fee, as well as being eligible for Weekend and Year End High Points. We are very proud of the quality of awards we are able to provide. We also offer a fun and fantastic Year End Awards banquet that ensures a Great time for all!!
