8-31-11 - WOW another sucsessful show season under our belts where does
the time go? A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated, we really couldn't
have done it without all of you!!! We are already planning for our Year End member Banquet and will post the info and send
invites once a date has been determined. We are also discussing and planning our 2012 show bill and will post it
once the Fair Board supplies us with next year's show dates. Again thanks to all the exhibitor's and family's for
a great 2011 season!!
8-8-11 - ATTENTION EXHIBITOR'S, our next show weekend is fast approaching
& because it's our last show we've decided to add some fun classes. On Saturday evening after all the regular classes
are over we will offer 3 fun classes for all exhibitors and here's the best thing the classes are free and we will give out
prizes to the winners. WHOA WHOA. The 3 classes will be EGG & SPOON, TOILET PAPER WITH A PARTNER & BINDER TWINE
RACE, so get you game on & start practicing.

WE ARE DOING
IT AGAIN ! Due to the inclement weather we’ve had this spring we have decided it would be in the best
interest of the exhibitors and horses to have another FUZZY show, so we are changing our next show (May 14 & 15) to a
FUZZY show which means show clothes, clipping and bathing your horse is OPTIONAL! So come and have some fun!!!!
ALSO NOTE: Due to construction on US-127, the Kipp
Road exit is closed. If you are approaching from the south, you can still exit at Kipp Road, but if you are coming from the
north, you will have to go to the Barnes Road exit and follow the detour.

IMPORTANT ROAD CONSTRUCTION news: for anybody that comes in on Kipp Rd, read
carefully: (news in the LSJ) The Kipp Rd bridge over US 127 near Mason will be closed begining
April 11th for reconstruction. The entrance and exit ramps will remain open but the road will be closed directly over
the highway!
3-20-11 - HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!
REMINDER - Less than a month before our first show so don't forget
it is not too early to reserve your stalls and keep in mind if you plan to stall with friends than we highly reccomend you
reserve in advance. We will have stalls for everyone but if you do not reserve in advance the chance of stalling with friends

- CHANGE ON SHOW BILL, we have added a Pony/Mini showmanship class to
our show bill, it will be class 6A, a revised show bill will posted soon. REMEMBER our first show is coming up real fast and it is not too soon to reserve your stalls, see stall form tab for
reservation instrustions!

- ATTENTION MEMBERS new for 2011; to qualify for a member year end age division award you must
have shown under a minimum 4 out of the 10 judges during the 2011 LMHA show season. To qualify for the member year end
saddle drawing give away you must have shown under a minimum 8 out of the 10 judges during the 2011 LMHA
show season. See Rules and Regulations page for full explanation! If a Member has earned any saddle award within five years of current year 2006-2010 he/she is ineligible for
any saddle award of said current year.
1-13-11 - NOTICE to all 2010 members: our Member meeting is scheduled for Feb 20,
2011 at 4:00 pm, the loaction is Lansing Fire Department Station #4, 1435 E Miller Rd, Lansing MI - Remember this
is a member only meeting so you must have been a 2010 member to attend. At this meeting we will be taking nominations
for the vice President position. Hope to see you there!
12-18-10 - Interested members please take note: We
have a Vice President position open on the board, we will take nominations at our Feb 2011 MEMBER meeting To qualify
for the position you must be a current two yearconsecutive LMHA member and most IMPORTANT
be in GOOD STANDINGS with the association. The time and place for our member meeting has
not yet be determined, we will post the date some time in January.

- Thanks to all the members who attended our banquet, we sincerely hope everyone had a good
meal and a great time! We are working on finalizing our 2011 show bill and planning a MEMBER ONLY meeting for sometime in
Feburary 2011, more info about the meeting will be posted. Our finalized show bill will be availble soon, if
you picked one up at the banquet it has been revised so watch for the final updated show bill on the web site soon!

IMPORTANT and New Policy
starting in 2010: As always stall reservations are recommend, however reserving/holding stalls will require payment
in advance of either mailing a check or providing a credit card. NOTE: WE
DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENT the weekend of the show. Credit cards are only to reserve/hold stalls, if you choose to
use a credit card to reserve stalls be prepared to pay for your stalls at the show with a check or cash. To reserve
your stalls see "stall form tab" for instructions and email Kathy lkberger@sbcglobal.net - for questions ONLY about stall reservations call Kathy 586-484-5521 lkberger@sbcglobal.net . If you have reserved stalls but are unable to attend PLEASE call 24 hours prior to the event (Thursday PM)
to cancel your stalls. We reserve the right to cash your check or charge your credit card if you do not cancel in advance
(this will be the only situation when we will actually run a credit card). We have
3 contacts available to take your stall cancellation: 586-484-5521, 517-490-1607 or 517-719-2329. Remember we will always
have stalls available, however if you are unable to reserve in advance we cannot guarantee group stalling. Thank you
